What is EFT?

EFT is an emotional healing technique, developed by Gary Craig, a Stanford trained engineer who trained with Dr Roger Callahan in the early years of  Thought Field Therapy.

EFT  is capable of dramatically relieving many physical and emotional symptoms.  It contends that "The cause of all negative emotions is a disruption in the body's energy system"

How does EFT work?

EFT is a meridian energy therapy, sometimes called "emotional acupuncture" but instead of needles the major meridian lines in the body are stimulated by tapping on them with the fingertips.  This tapping clears the emotional blockages in the system and serves to balance those energy meridians that have become unbalanced or disrupted when someone becomes involved in an emotionally disturbing event.

The memory of that event remains, as an event that happened but the negative charge that accompanied it is gone.  Typically this result is lasting.

Empowerment.

Many emotional issues, rather like puzzles, can have many interlocking pieces and it is advisable to seek help from a skilled and trained practitioner to ensure that all aspects of a problem are dealt with.  However the wonderful thing about EFT is that once you have been taught the process, a simple proceedure that can take as little as twenty minutes, you then have a powerful resource within you that can enable you to restore your system to a state of health.

EFT can help with:

  • Addictive cravings-food, chocolate, cigarettes.
  • Compulsions, obsessions
  • Depression, sadness
  • Fears, phobias
  • Grief, loss
  • Guilt
  • Negative memories
  • Pain and symptom management
  • Physical healing
  • Enhancing peak performance, sports, public speaking.
  • Post Traumatic Stress Disorder
  • Issues of abuse
  • Pain relief, migraine, arthritis etc.
